PC Expander
Video Scaler and PC Input for ProductionVIEW Console. The ProductionVIEW PC Expander is a 1-RU rack mountable video scaler/switcher that expands the capabilities of the ProductionVIEW Series of video consoles and controllers. The PC Expander essentially adds a PC input to any ProductionVIEW system and scales the video output of the ProductionVIEW or ProductionVIEW FX up to the resolution of a PC for matched resolution display on large format projectors (image magnification systems).

TECHNICAL FEATURES
- Supported Resolutions:The video inputs are de-interlaced and scaled up to the following PC resolutions; 640x480 (VGA), 800x600 (SVGA), 1024x768 (XGA), 1280x1024 (SXGA) and the following HDTV resolutions; 852x480p, 852x576p, 1280x720p (720p),1920x1080i (1080i-interlaced). The maximum PC input supported is 1600 x 1200 (UXGA) and is not processed to retain the integrity of the PC signal.
- Control Options: The ProductionVIEW PC Expander can be controlled manually from the front panel of the unit and has an OSD (on-screen display) for easy setup and access to the scaling parameters. The PC Expander can also be set-up and controlled with the provided IR Remote control.
- ProductionVIEW Integration: When the PC Expander is connected to camera control port 6 of the ProductionVIEW or ProductionVIEW FX consoles, the console will automatically recognize and auto-configure for front panel control of the switching between the video inputs and PC from the MAIN bus assignment button.
- Stand-Alone Operation: The PC Expander can also be used in a system where a high quality scaler is required to deinterlace and scale standard definition S-Video, composite video or component video to PC resolutions or HDTV resolutions for display on large format displays where resolution matching is important.
